“Encourage the children to master in every kind of learning, and make them eager to be skilled in every art.”
In this era, the purpose of a school is to empower children to be skillful in both scholastic and co-scholastic areas and become change agents to bring transformation in the communities.  Besides academic excellence, the learners need to be inspired to engage more in the co-scholastic areas and other necessary arts to become masters in all these arts. To be capable and empowered, the students need to be provided with an appropriate environment where their interests and talents can be fostered. Silachari Higher Secondary School, which is being run and supported by the State Education Department, Govt. of Tripura. Since beginning it has gradually gained its reputation around the locality.  Here in this school, all our learners get necessary support with the help of the state department. 
The school has two streams i.e. Humanities and Science, and here learners of both streams are given enough support so that they can sharpen and strengthen their hidden talents and important life skills.
Now, it has grown into a model school in this area where all our students get an appropriate learning environment and has an opportunity to express their understanding on various concepts. Being a model school, Silachari Higher Secondary School has got an opportunity to give professional training to the teachers of the neighbouring schools to excel more quality education in their schools of this area.
I am honoured to serve as the principal of the Silachari Higher Secondary School and it is a privilege to be part of a community where parents, staff, and students genuinely put effort to create a better learning environment and support for academic and social growth.
